11th May, Sutterton Parish Church, Lincolnshire
Our May Jelly Church saw 10+ Children in attendance together with their parents.
Our craft was a combination of all the bits and bobs that we had in the craft cupboard, and the children were able to select what they wanted to do. Among the things on offer were Bird Houses and a selection of small boxes which could all be painted and decorated. There were also Colouring Books and drawing paper with a selection of pencils, crayons and paints, plus other things. The children had plenty to choose from and could do multiple things if they wished to.
As usual the children together with their mums and dads sat down to our Jelly Church Tea which this month consisted of Pizza, Sausage Rolls, Cocktail size sausages, Crisps, Cakes, a fruit Drink and of course our customary bowl of Jelly. Tea and Coffee was on hand for the adults.
As we had had our VE (Victory in Europe) commemoration service earlier in the day, which was followed by Cake & Prosecco, there were lots of slices of cake remaining which our Jelly Church attendees got stuck into.
The parents in attendance were very helpful as normal.
Father Mark was with us, and at the end and under his leadership, the children and the adults all joined in with some action songs.
A lovely afternoon was had by all.
Our next Jelly Church will be on the 8th June 2025 in the Church at 3.30pm when we will be making Father’s Day cards under the excellent guidance of AMY
The Jelly Church Crew look forward to seeing you all on Sunday the 8TH June 2025 at 3.30pm
