9th MARCH – 21 Children attended, and this month we began our session with the craft.
Jelly Church this Sunday was led by one of our Mums, Amy who was ably assisted by her mum Anna and daughter Sienna, and with Mother’s Day at the end of the month, our craft was to make a Mother’s Day Card.
Each child made a decorated Card for Mum and wrote a message inside. Amy then assisted the children to make Fans using folded pink paper and straws. They were then decorated with flowers and the finished product was beautiful.
After the Cards and Fans were finished, the children together with their mums and a few dads sat down to our Jelly Church Tea which this month consisted of Pizza, Sausage Rolls, Cocktail size sausages, Crisps, Cakes, a fruit Drink and of course our customary bowl of Jelly. Tea and Coffee was on hand for the adults
Father Mark was with us, and at the end and under his leadership, the children and the adults all joined in with some action songs.
A lovely afternoon was had by all, with the children departing with their Mothers Day Cards and Fans.
Our next Jelly Church will be on the 13th March 2025 in the Church at 3.30pm and our craft will be to build a garden on a plate.
Do not forget to join us on Mothering Sunday – 30th March at 9.30am where we shall hold a short service at the end of which refreshments will be available plus bunches of daffodils for Mums
The Jelly Church Crew look forward to seeing you all on Sunday the 13th April 2025 at 3.30pm
